I founded Lasting Solutions knowing there was a growing need for comprehensive HR expertise for “Employer of Choice” minded business owners. As your outsourced HR Business Partner you receive the services, support and guidance you need to operate your business effectively without the expense of a full time employee.

Our team is comprised of professionals with diversified and extensive business and “real life” experience which allows everyone you work with at Lasting Solutions to understand and meet your needs quickly. We are enthusiastic about sharing best practice strategies that will assist you in adapting to the evolving marketplace, and in achieving your goals. As professionals, we spend so much time in our working life that it’s important that we enjoy it. Having a strong career impacts all areas of our lives; therefore, we have included Career Strategy and Transition coaching as part of our primary focus.

I have a passion for learning and consider myself a life long learner. My personal experience spans more than 25 years in a variety of sectors including retail, wholesale, manufacturing & distribution, professional, sales, research and health care both private, entrepreneurial and public organizations. Along with my CHRP, my interests are in Total Rewards and I have earned my CCP and CBP through Worldat Work and CC and CL through Toastmasters.

A great day for me is one where I know I’ve made a difference to someone. Now, I’d like to introduce the rest of the Lasting Solutions team.

Doug Jernigan

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Doug Jernigan, (also known as Dr. J.) for three years now. As someone who has transformed his career from DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) to a gifted human behaviour consultant, Doug has the ability to very quickly show people how to maximum their natural strengths and limit weaknesses in an individual or group setting. Doug is a certified DISC consultant. His ability to connect with his audience instantaneously is through his years of experience with animals in his veterinary practice. We all love our animals so he captures and retains our attention immediately.
